Book Festival: Victor Schelstraete signs

Ontmoet Gentse boxer Victor Schelstraete (29). He is signing his autobiography - a gripping story of trial and error. Everyone welcome! He once seemed lost to a normal or successful life. He grew up more on the street than was good for him: no discipline, no schooling, but going out, aggressive behavior, toxic relations, drugs... The sport of boxing became his salvation. In the ring he learned how to give his life a new turn, away from everything that dragged him down. Helped by extraordinary talent and a lot of perseverance, he even stood at the Olympische Spelen in 2024. He reached the quarter-finals there.
