A baby elephant stays in its mama’s belly for almost two years to grow. Without having to do anything. I came out of my mama’s belly after seven months. Schemerland is a performance about how finding a home can sometimes take a lifetime. About how a home without a house can give warmth and about the right to have many mothers and fathers. In this production, young people from Pleegzorg Oost-Vlaanderen and workshop youths from Kopergietery are given a voice to translate their authentic stories to the stage. “The director and players manage to drag you completely into their story.
