In the morning, we will take you to the Mauritshuis, a small museum of world stature. A guide will take you along masterpieces from the Gouden Eeuw by, among others, Vermeer, Rembrandt, van Rijn, and Rubens. During the tour, you will discover not only the stories behind the paintings but also the history of the city palace in which the museum is housed. After the lunch break, you will visit ‘De Mesdagcollectie’. In this museum, you will get to know the impressive collection of artist couple Hendrik Willem Mesdag and Sientje Mesdag-van Houten. Their passion for art created a special collection with masterpieces by the Haagse School and French masters. Here too, a guide will provide depth and context.
