Book Festival: Meet & Greet Tine Claeys with 'Between having to and being allowed to'

Tine Caeys presents her debut novel 'Tussen moeten en mogen'. For this historical novel, Tine delved into her family history. One hundred years ago, her great-grandmother took her first steps into adult, married life and experienced the roaring 1920s in the austere countryside. Photographs and letters show prosperity and crisis, wealth and simplicity. Tussen moeten en mogen breathes the interwar period with a captivating story that hovers between fiction and reality. This event is part of Feest van het Boek (www.standaardboekhandel.be/feest-van-het-boek).
