A Streetcar Named Desire

Meesterwerk van Tennessee Williams through Belgisch Repertoire Theater. When aristocratic Blanche DuBois loses everything, she seeks refuge with her sister Stella in a poor working-class neighborhood. But her dream world clashes mercilessly with the raw reality of Stella's husband, Stanley Kowalski, an immigrant. What follows is a sultry, explosive struggle between two faces of America: the melancholic beauty of faded glory versus the merciless drive of 'the American Dream'. As the temperature and tensions rise, everyone gets entangled in a web of desire, power, and despair. How long can Stella stay standing between two people she loves?
