Lying concert 'Closing'

The last days of the year invite stillness. While the world slows down and the light retreats, we open the door to a warm, sound-rich cocoon. We see this lying concert 'Closing' as a kind of ritual: a gentle rounding off of the old, a breathing space before the new. Enveloped by the deep resonances of gongs, singing bowls, bells, vibraphone, and much more, you are invited to sink into the moment. No good intentions, no looking back, just being. In this winter bedding, we let go of what no longer serves. And above all... we make space in our body, our head, and our heart for the unknown that is coming. Close 2026 in softness, carried by sound and silence. A lying mat, blanket, and pillow will be ready upon your arrival. So you don't have to bring anything yourself. Biografie Andy Vanbeveren is passionate about music and its effects on humans. What once started with singing bowls and gongs has since grown into a collection of more than 350 instruments. Native American Flute, didgeridoo, handpan, tongue drum, all kinds of percussion and drums, numerous string instruments, piano, and many other world instruments belong to his unique collection. He completed various training courses at home and abroad and was able to learn from many great 'masters' in their field such as Hans de Back (singing bowls), Shree Krishna Shahi and Santa Ratna Shakya (singing bowls), Don Conreaux (gongs), Michael Telepary (Native American Flute), Nestor Kornblum (overtone singing),... Since 2010, he has had more than 1000 concerts to his name. Not only throughout Flanders but also in the Netherlands. He played at, among others, Tomorrowland, the Japanese garden in Hasselt, Casino van Blankenberge, numerous cultural centers, churches, etc. He is known for his continuous innovations in sound combinations. A passion that he now also knows how to interpret via live looping. In the past, he played together with other musicians such as Tylaine Van den Broeck (piano), Gilbert Isbin (lute), John Snauwaert (sax), Michael Telapary (American Native Flute), Nicolas Mortelmans (sitar), Hari Paudjal (bansuri flute), Hélène Philippart (bansuri flute and transverse flute), Manish Pingle (slide guitar), Catherine Maes (mezzo-soprano), Bart Gits (taiko), Kees Kort (shakuhachi), Aki Vergels-Sato (koto), Cantavita (overtone singing), etc. In addition, he has already accompanied numerous yoga sessions, meditation, team buildings, festivals, Ecstatic Dance, etc.
