Black Box Revelation

Black Box Revelation, one of Belgium's most acclaimed rock bands, understands the enduring appeal of crying guitars and grooves that send thousands of people into ecstasy. Although that foundation is just as strongly present as during the band's founding twenty years ago, the rise of the digital world also has its effect on the duo Jan Paternoster (vocals/guitar) and Dries van Dijck (drums). On their self-titled new album, expected on March 12, Black Box Revelation restlessly seeks out the contrasts between grainy fuzz and 4K resolution. What started as the idea for a solo album between Jan Paternoster and his friend Jeroen De Pessemier (The Subs) ultimately felt best as a logical next step for Black Box Revelation. After the experiment with samples on Poetic Rivals (2023), the duo now adds synths, voice changers and digital effects to their familiar blues rock base. Above all, however, Black Box Revelation remains a true live band that knows how to build a show with surprising new work and indestructible hits. They are coming to prove that again after their completely sold-out passage in 2023 in Cactus Club.
