Swingin' Christmas - Esther Hart, Michael Varekamp & The Legends

An atmospheric Christmas concert with a nostalgic mix of swing and jazz classics from the 30s and 40s. Michael Varekamp, driving force behind The Legends, seems to come straight from the Paris of the swinging 30s. Artists like Édith Piaf, Josephine Baker, Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole were all too happy to perform in the bustling city of light. Christmas was also a peak time for the most romantic place in the world. Songs like ‘Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer’, ‘Let it Snow’ and ‘Silent Night’ echoed through the streets.
