Air4Six in the Abbey Church of Ninove - Flemish romanticism rediscovered

"Heritage Sound" - Flemish Romanticism rediscovered. Under the motto "What rarely sounds, touches most deeply," the vocal collective Air4Six opens a little-lit chapter from our musical history: the intimate a cappella ensemble music of Flemish composers from the late 19th and early 20th century. Six soloists, each with a pronounced voice and personality, merge into one transparent, expressive sound. Forgotten gems by, among others, Benoit, Meulemans, De Vocht, De Boeck, Mortelmans, and Tinel are given new breath. Music that balances between lyricism and stillness, between romantic intensity and refined chamber music. "Heritage Sound / Vlaamse Romantiek Herontdekt" is an invitation to listen to what has remained silent for a long time — and to rediscover how rich and moving our musical heritage is.
