WOOD - Robbert&Frank Frank&Robbert

Robbert&Frank adapt their performance WOOD for Hagelslag so that young participants from 8 years old can travel along in the afternoon. In 'WOOD' you and your fellow travelers are immersed in a strange world, where nothing is what it seems. You start with a joint tea ritual around the Tree of Life. Then you put on VR glasses and enter the virtual world. Let yourself be guided by Robbert&Frank and your own intuition and curiosity. “Who or what are you in this new place?” You will find the answer if you dare to take the first step yourself (literally). Because only by moving do you experience what is possible in this supernatural world. Together with your fellow travelers, you probe the boundaries of what is real, to eventually come back home to each other and let the Tree of Life blossom. 'WOOD' is part of 'Table Dialogues', in which the maker duo takes the Chinese five-element theory Wŭxíng as a starting point for performances around earth, water, wood, fire, and metal. Limited number of places. *8:30 p.m.: In the evening, this virtual reality performance is there for youth and adults.
