Film: Zondag de Negenste (2026)
Zondag de Negenste tells the story of brothers Horst (Josse De Pauw) and Franz (Peter Van den Begin) who reunite after a life full of missed opportunities. Horst suffers from a lack of joy in life and Alzheimer's disease. Franz needs money and hopes for his brothers' inheritance. Old passions, old wounds, and a rivalry between two brothers that goes back further than they realize. The film intertwines the memories of the brothers with those of the residents of a residential care center, thereby telling in a unique way that caring for each other is perhaps the most essential form of humanity.
