Soltacorda: Jazz from Brazil - Vitor Garbelotto & Roberto de Oliveira

On the occasion of the preparation of their first album Soltacorda, trombonist Roberto De Oliveira and 7-string guitarist Vitor Garbelotto offer an intimate, elegant, and very lively duo concert, around a subtle dialogue between trombone / mandolin and 7-string guitar. Their music explores a vibrant Brazilian jazz, nourished by samba-jazz, traditions of the Northeast, and the richness of the Brazilian guitar with a large place left to improvisation and interaction. Vitor Garbelotto is an internationally recognized artist (APCA Prize, nomination for the Musique Brésilienne Prize), and this duo format works particularly well in the hall, with a strong proximity to the public.
