SMALL CLUB: Sedaa

Sedaa means “voice” in Persian and connects traditional Mongolian music with the Orient, which together produces an extraordinary and fascinating sound. The master singers Nasaa Nasanjargal and Naraa Naranbaatar, who studied in their Mongolian homeland, take you together with the Iranian multi-instrumentalist Omid Bahadori into a truly exotic world between the Orient and the Mongolian steppe. Vibrating overtone singing and the amazing harmonic singing Hömii merge, together with the melancholic sounds of the horsehead fiddle (Morin Khuur) and the pulsating oriental drum rhythms, into one mystical sound.
