The Ladies & De Lassies

In 2017 the Fakkeltheater brought The Ladies & The Tramp to the Rode Zaal for the first time. In 2019 Jelle Cleymans came on board and from that moment on there suddenly were: The Ladies & De Lassies. To celebrate this anniversary and because the Fakkeltheater exists 70 years, a grand musical show is being set up again. Everything will be top, topper, top: the voices, the music, the orchestra, the humor, the costumes and yes… even the magic acts will amaze many. A swirling, musical show that shuns no genre. From jazz to disco, pop to chansons, from Bobbejaan Schoepen to Barry White, from Aretha Franklin to Lady Gaga and from Frans Bauer to Edith Piaf. Enkele van Vlaanderens best voices share the stage together: Barbara Dex, Sandrine Van Handenhoven and Jelle Cleymans are assisted by master and mistress of ceremony Sam Verhoeven and Daisy Thys. They are accompanied by a seven-piece live orchestra led by Steven Mintjens.
