Sylvia Huang

De Belgische violinist Sylvia Huang is praised for her “true lyricism and moving musicality, her simplicity and sensibility”, her “very varied color palette” (Le Soir) and as a musician with “integrity, emotion” and a “rich sound” (De Standaard). In May 2019, she became a laureate of the Koningin Elisabethwedstrijd and she won the Prix Musiq’3 du Public and the Canvas-Klara Prijs. She was also awarded the Caecilia prize for Jonge Musicus of the Year 2019 by the Belgische Vereniging of the Belgische Muziekpers. Her debut CD \"Lointain Passé\" with pianist Eliane Reyes appeared in September 2021 with music by Eugène Ysaÿe and Guillaume Lekeu at the record label Outhere Music-Fuga Libera, and was highly appreciated by the press.
