Let go of what you no longer need to hold onto. There comes a moment when you feel: it is time. Time to become softer. Time to let tension melt away. Time to let go of what no longer serves. During our sound healing concert 'Release', we invite you to relax in a bed of sound. Warm tones of handpan and singing bowls guide you inward, where silence waits, and breath gets space. The combination with other ethnic instruments creates a safe setting where you can let go. The vibration of the instruments works deeply through body and mind. Soothing. Relaxing. Releasing. You don't have to do anything. Just be. And slowly, effortlessly, you let go. What remains is peace. Space. And above all... a lighter you. In short, an evening to breathe, to feel, and to liberate. Release – sound as an invitation to surrender. Soft. Real. Free. Don't forget to bring your yoga mat, supplemented with a blanket and a pillow for your head. That makes enjoying it extra comfortable. Biografie Andy Vanbeveren is passionate about music and its effects on people. What once started with singing bowls and gongs has since grown into a collection of more than 300 instruments. Native American Flute, didgeridoo, handpan, tongue drum, all kinds of percussion and drums, numerous string instruments, piano, and many other world instruments belong to his unique collection. He completed various training courses at home and abroad and was allowed to learn from many great 'masters' in their field such as Hans de Back (singing bowls), Shree Krishna Shahi and Santa Ratna Shakya (singing bowls), Don Conreaux (gongs), Michael Telepary (Native American Flute), Nestor Kornblum (overtone singing),... Since 2010, he has more than 1000 concerts to his name. Not only throughout Flanders, but also in the Netherlands. He played at Tomorrowland, the Japanese garden in Hasselt, Casino van Blankenberge, numerous cultural centers, churches, etc. He is known for his continuous innovations in sound combinations. A passion that he now also knows how to interpret via live looping. In the past, he played together with other musicians such as Tylaine Van den Broeck (piano), Gilbert Isbin (lute), John Snauwaert (sax), Michael Telapary (American Native Flute), Nicolas Mortelmans (sitar), Hari Paudjal (bansuri flute), Hélène Philippart (bansuri flute and transverse flute), Manish Pingle (slide guitar), Catherine Maes (mezzo-soprano), Bart Gits (taiko), Kees Kort (shakuhachi), Aki Vergels-Sato (koto), Cantavita (overtone singing), etc. In addition, he has already accompanied numerous yoga sessions, meditation, teambuildings, festivals, Ecstatic Dance, etc.
