Our sound healing concert 'The Inner Drum Journey' invites you to meet that inner rhythm once again. During this relaxing lying-down concert, percussion forms the beating heart of the evening. Its repetitive cadence works in a grounding and powerful way, like an anchor in the here and now. Sometimes earthy, sometimes playful. From that foundation, singing bowls and melodic instruments such as native flute, handpan, Indian string instrument, and tongue drum weave a spatial soundscape that opens, softens, and deepens. The interplay of rhythm and resonance brings movement where energy is stuck and simultaneously creates a sense of safety and coherence. Your body remembers its natural flow. Your breath deepens. Your attention turns inward. Lying down and carried by sound, you travel to a place of clarity, vitality, and inner strength. Biografie Andy Vanbeveren is passionate about music and its effects on people. What once started with singing bowls and gongs has since grown into a collection of more than 350 instruments. Native American Flute, didgeridoo, handpan, tongue drum, all kinds of percussion and drums, numerous string instruments, piano, and many other world instruments belong to his unique collection. He completed various training courses at home and abroad and was able to learn from many great 'masters' in their field such as Hans de Back (singing bowls), Shree Krishna Shahi and Santa Ratna Shakya (singing bowls), Don Conreaux (gongs), Michael Telepary (Native American Flute), Nestor Kornblum (overtone singing),... Since 2010, he has more than 1000 concerts to his name. Not only throughout Flanders, but also in the Netherlands. He has played at, among others, Tomorrowland, the Japanese Garden in Hasselt, Casino van Blankenberge, numerous cultural centers, churches, etc. He is known for his lasting innovations in sound combinations. A passion that he now also knows how to interpret via live looping. In the past, he has played together with other musicians such as Gilbert Isbin (lute), John Snauwaert (sax), Michael Telapary (American Native Flute), Nicolas Mortelmans (sitar), Hari Paudjal (bansuri flute), Hélène Philippart (bansuri flute and transverse flute), Manish Pingle (slide guitar), Catherine Maes (mezzo-soprano), Bart Gits (taiko), Kees Kort (shakuhachi), Aki Vergels-Sato (koto), Cantavita (overtone singing), etc. In addition, he has already accompanied numerous yoga sessions, meditation, team buildings, festivals, Ecstatic Dance, etc.
