Roel Das

Roel Das moves as a sound specialist effortlessly between music, technology and composition. With roots in the Diest music scene, he developed into a sound engineer, sound designer and teacher of live electronics at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel. In addition, he is active as a composer and arranger. He works with renowned artists on concerts, recordings and theater or opera productions, far beyond national borders, and realized, among other things, arrangements for Marble Sounds and Wouter Dewit. As the next milestone in his rich artistic career, he brings the premiere of a completely own creation, Loose Lines, in CC Diest. Music of his own hand, played on harmonica and supported by a band with jazz musicians from his musical circle of friends. His music carries you away like Bill Frisell and Paul Motian do: playfully and with an unmistakable sense of lyricism. An intimate, musical milestone of a versatile creator.
