Wonderzoekers - De Leugen is a live podcast on stage! Sofie Palmers and Katrien Pierlet dive together with their young audience (from 8 years old) into the fascinating world of the lie: why do we lie, how do you recognize a lie, and can a well-told lie be just as powerful as the truth? In this performance, you see them making a podcast truly live, complete with microphones, live music, and artisanal foley sounds. What does a professional liar sound like? Or a candy robbery in the supermarket? Sofie and Katrien pull out all the stops to bring every sound to life - sometimes hilarious, sometimes surprising, sometimes wonderfully absurd. With their experience in theater and audio, they build further on their previous collaboration (Radio Fiona) and bundle science, philosophy, and fantasy in an adventurous search for truth and imagination.
