Kara Karamba

Guido Henderickx has been a member of the Balen amateur theater association Bert Leysenkring for more than 25 years. He wrote and performs the theater monologue 'B.I.E.K. - Blue is a color' about a young boy, Isidoor Dijk, who grows up on a small farm in the Kempen. One day fate strikes: an accident changes the life of this young boy, forever. 'Blue is a color' is a story about adversity, about loneliness, but also about getting chances and never giving up. Heartwarming, humorous, and recognizable! With musical accompaniment (TBA). Kara Karamba is an annual cozy evening for music and culture lovers and sympathizers of the town twinning. The proceeds go entirely to the social projects in Kara Kara (Niger), around health, education, local economy, water, and community building. The performance is realized by the Kara Karacomité in collaboration with Staf Mens and Leven. Interested in working in our town twinning?
