Prinses Nee! moves every week. Or rather, palaces weekly from her mother's palace to her father's palace or vice versa. She should have two "homes," but it doesn't feel that way to her. She is lost for a moment. Two men try to bring her home. They call themselves 1 and 2, but they are clearly much more. "I have everything double, so I never have to move anything! Except my diary, I only have that once. I was missing a sock at both my palaces. And then they wanted to throw the other one away, but then I said, oh no! Those are my exchange socks. I put them on when I go from one palace to the other. So now I have them on. You can't see that, but the left one comes from the mom-palace and the right one from the dad-palace." Mona Lahousse, Jonas Leemans, and Dimitri Leue make a fairy tale out of the life of a girl with divorced parents. Fantasy and playfulness are not the packaging of reality, no, they peel away the pent-up sadness and uncontrolled anger to reach acceptance. The music of Antoon Offeciers whips the whole story up into a swinging journey and the costumes of Katinka Heremans (De Maan) bring characters to life that you have never seen before. After the performance, all children can participate for free in the craft workshop that we are organizing together with Academie Waasmunster. Parents and grandparents who would like to craft along are welcome. Or they can go for a drink in the bistro.
