In this a cappella program, the refined polyphony of Orlandus Lassus and Giaches De Wert, the choir sound of Raymond Schroyens and Jules Van Nuffel, and new arrangements of Belgian songs meet in one compelling whole. The singers explore the richness of vocal music: from polyphony to pop, from intimate close harmony to powerful polyphony. Known and lesser-known works get a new sound color in arrangements tailored to the ensemble. In BEyond you hear how rich, surprising and contemporary Belgian vocal music can sound.
