In an old apartment, three neighbors wait with excitement for the arrival of Saint Nicholas. But this year they do that in a very special place: the roof.
Zannemie wants to catch Saint Nicholas, sing a birthday song for him, and therefore sleep on the roof all night. Tamarita has just moved from Spain and puts out her shoe for the first time. Veston meanwhile wonders who that new neighbor is. And whether his shoe might be too big. Together they write letters to Saint Nicholas.
In this theatrical music performance, Zannemie goes a bit … off the roof. Zannemie makes the Saint Nicholas party a warm party for everyone. With humor, imagination, and lots of music, the performance touches on big and small themes from the world of children: friendship, being different, making choices, working together, playing, and discovering the world.
You go home with a head full of delicious Sinterklaasliedjes van Zannemie, with strong influences from flamenco and dance.
