No two concerts are the same — and that is exactly what makes this collaboration so special. A unique opportunity to see three strong personalities from the Belgian music world at work together. Carlo Nardozza & Philippe Thuriot Wanneer Carlo Nardozza (trumpet) and Philippe Thuriot (accordion) join their musical forces, you enter a special world of playfulness and melancholy. The duo previously brought their combination of unique muffled trumpet sounds and the versatile orchestral character of the accordion to Creti Senesi (the festival of Collegium Vocale in Tuscany), the Klarafestival Walden in Brussels, and the Chiesa di San Stae in Venice (during the Klara Cruise of 2024). From the first note they played together, there was an unmistakable musical chemistry. An infectious spark that also forms the starting point for this new collaboration, where Carlo and Philippe work with the orchestral music of the Argentine bandoneonist and composer Astor Piazzolla. Trumpet and accordion go in search of the essence of the music and in doing so show an admirable fragility. The friends invite you for a beautiful, melancholy journey that will leave you enchanted.
