TRAUM - Roeshoofd

Dertiger Siem is at a crossroads in his life. His career as a theater director is not getting off the ground, his relationship with Lucia is under pressure, and the recognition he desires from his father Garnik is not coming. For his new performance, Siem decides to interview his father, hoping to find answers to questions about a complex and painful war past. What follows is a reconstruction in which he tries to find out who he is today, and above all, who he wants to be. By situating the story in an indefinite time and place and using animal masks, TRAUM becomes an absurd allegory about a war between Foxes and Rabbits, driven by music by Tim Vanhamel. A search for what traces a beastly past leaves on the generations that come after.
