A practically wordless performance. There are two NEIGHBORS; two surly, bored, and lonely figures. They are almost shadows of themselves. They sit together, but they are never really together. Their days string together like a chain without shine. They rarely laugh, they only sigh. They grumble under their breath and count the ticking of the clock. The old poorly tuned radio mumbles, but no music sounds. There is no laugh, no glimmer of light. The world is difficult, big, tiring. And that's how it has always been. But then. A strange spark, a clumsy gesture, a glimmer of something unknown. Love? Friendship? A neighbor they finally see? Color creeps in very carefully, a laugh is hesitantly practiced.
