The Zac Schulze Gang is an energetic blues rock trio around singer-guitarist Zac Schulze, with Ant Greenwell on bass and brother Ben Schulze on drums. The band from Gillingham creates its own recognizable sound by mixing rock and blues with influences from punk, funk, country, jazz, soul, metal, and pop.
Since its founding in 2020, the trio has built a reputation as one of the hardest-working bands in the UK. The gang has already stood on stage with artists such as Samantha Fish, Jesse Dayton, Eddie 9V, and Nine Below Zero and played at Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Festival in 2023 and Fairport’s Cropredy Convention in 2024. In 2025, The Zac Schulze Gang was headliner at the Rory Gallagher Tribute Festival.
In April 2025, Zac Schulze was named Young Blues Artist of the Year during the UK Blues Awards. In September of that same year, debut album ‘Straight to It’ appeared via Ruf Records.
“The Zac Schulze Gang are destined for blues rock glory, catch them when you can. Young vibrant, pacy tunes, punchy notes, no fillers here just a briljant performance.” - Blues Matters
