NIMBUS CART, BLISTERS, and LETTERSTOMYSOFIA are the winners of Bandopname 2026. They win a live video recording at Cultuurhuis Herbakker, a merch workshop at youth house De Route, and conclude the trajectory with a showcase in muziekclub N9. Admission is free! Letterstomysofia – SOFIA for friends - is the duo Samson and Jef. They move between electronic music, indie, and ambient. With minimal instrumentation and attention to detail, they create a dreamy, atmospheric sound. Denk Bon Iver, Dijon, and The 1975. Nimbus Cart mixes raw psychedelic rock, grunge, and punk into songs that are as abrasive as they are catchy. Frontvrouw Janis takes no detours when a straight line suffices. Her unfiltered lyrics are joined by biting riffs and pushing rhythms. BLISTERS bring a mix of garage punk, socially engaged eighties hardcore, and pumping noise rock. Echoes of Cro-Mags, Minor Threat, Hüsker Dü, and Meat Wave merge with The Jesus Lizard, Shellac, Slint, and Butthole Surfers. In 2025 they dropped a first EP ‘Cracking Down’. Bandopname is a collaboration between Cultuurhuis Herbakker, Jeugdhuis De Route, muziekclub N9, and COMEET.
