Ravage, simply put

It began following "Operation Cast Lead," the bombing of the Gaza Strip in 2008-2009, a war crime so large, so meticulously documented that it should have produced international sanctions and, at the very least, the decolonization of Palestine within the 1967 borders, we thought. Yet, deadly operations have multiplied, with an impunity that erodes the meaning of everything we do. Too bad, we continue, betting that we must say and say again how the situation of millions of Palestinians concerns us, here in Europe. To explain, to make our share of responsibility in this lasting injustice legible. And then October 2023 arrived, taking away what remained of our patience. How to summarize and embrace the last 250 years in an hour without getting angry? How to arm ourselves against the current attempt to deny a people? This is what this impatient version of Décris-Ravage, titled Ravage tout court, attempts to do with the tools of theater.
