One battle after another

The burned-out revolutionary Bob (Leonardo DiCaprio) lives in hiding in a quiet place with his energetic, self-reliant daughter Willa. He goes through life stoned and paranoid. When his archenemy (Sean Penn) resurfaces after sixteen years and Willa disappears, the former rebel must pull himself together to find her, with both father and daughter being confronted with the consequences of his past.
