After a successful career as a model and fashion icon, Lee Miller starts working as a fearless war photographer during the Tweede Wereldoorlog. For Vogue magazine, she captures the horrors of war, from the soldiers on the front lines to the horrors of the concentration camps. In doing so, she shows not only the cruelty of war but also the resilience of the victims. She pays a high personal price for this when she is confronted with a trauma from her past.
