Double Bill Circus Nights

PLANET CIRCUS Just like the savanna, jungle, and tropical rainforest, the circus forms an autonomous ecosystem: a collection of living organisms that relate to their physical environment and each other. Guided by the calm voice of David Attenborough, the audience is taken on a voyage of discovery into the hidden life of the handbalancer. Depicted through the cinematic lens of a nature documentary, a humorous look is cast on the absurdity and vulnerability of her existence. Aylish Bik (NL) graduated in June 2025 from Fontys Circus and Performance Art, where she specialized in handstands. In addition, she is engaged in partner acrobatics and aerial silks. In her work, Aylish seeks a humorous representation of reality. ‘’When there can be laughter, there is room to forgive.’’ Keep an eye on our website for the complete program, a second performance is still to be programmed. THEATERGROEP HENDRIK & CO (b) - TERRIL Danie and Jules Jordens, father and son, take the stage together for the first time. One is a master of clowning, who says a lot with few words, and has been performing on the street for years. The other is a word magician, at home in text theater, comedy, and music, with thousands of followers online. They complement each other in a subtle and humorous manner and have a lot to learn from each other. Their styles merge into a refreshing, original performance about growing up as a miner's son, the flight into imagination, and the camaraderie that hard work entails.
