Four-day nature trip to Drenthe

From Thursday May 6 (=Ascension Day) to Sunday May 9, 2027 inclusive, we will embark on a four-day nature trip to Drenthe in the north of the Netherlands. A somewhat less known province perhaps, but still rich in special nature! In this region you will find 4 Nationale Parken at a short distance from each other: the Nationaal Park Weerribben-De Wieden, the Nationaal Park Dwingelderveld, the Nationaal Park Drents-Friese Wold and the Nationaal Park Drentsche Aa. Moreover, there are even more fantastic nature reserves nearby, such as the Fochteloërveen and the Hijkerveld. It is in this region that the Dutch crane population flourishes and where large mammals such as the wolf and the beaver also feel right at home. Vast forests, heathlands, fens and stream valley landscapes determine the image there. We will stay in a hotel that is ideally located in a quiet place close to all these beautiful nature reserves. This gives us the opportunity to fully enjoy this exceptional nature for 4 days in one of the most sparsely populated regions of the Netherlands. The remarkable flora and fauna of the heath and fen areas will undoubtedly provide many beautiful nature moments. REGISTER: the number of places is limited to 24, so do not wait to sign up if you want to come along! We stay in double rooms. Participants traveling solo will share a room with another solo traveler of the same gender. All rooms have two separate beds and a private bathroom. For example, a boat trip will likely also be on the schedule. Take into account a guideline price of € 350 to € 400 per person. This includes all meals and excursions. Transport is via carpooling, where costs are shared. THE FIRST 24 REGISTRATIONS are guaranteed a place. People who register after that will end up on a waiting list in case someone drops out due to e.g. illness or force majeure. You will be asked to transfer money before New Year's Day (exact amount will be communicated in time), because at the beginning of January the hotel wants certainty about the exact number of participants, so that any remaining rooms can be released again for other customers.
