Are the washing machine, the laundry basket, and the laundry full of life? If it is up to Casier & Dies, yes! In the playful performance WAS, they show what beauty is hidden in the laundry. And with a little imagination, the washing machine turns into a dream machine! After the performance, the children can let off steam in a theater playground with laundry baskets, drying racks, washing machines, and of course: the laundry. About the makers Acrobaat Karel Casier played street theater and circus performances like Circus Hoetchatchov and REDtheCAT. Dieske Krijnders studied drama therapy and specialized in movement and improvisation theater. For both, Moes was a first very successful collaboration. Moes won the youth theater prize Zilveren Krekel 2017 for the most impressive youth production. Beautiful is also the final image, in which a rotary clothes dryer is placed on the washing machine. After opening the dryer, the cloths form a kind of tent. Als Dies the dryer spins faster and faster, the tent changes into such a reassuringly rotating night light, which many toddlers and preschoolers know from their own bedroom.
