Rhythm immortal - Carrier

BELGIAN PREMIÈRE Carrier, alias the Brit Guy Brewer, always stayed on the periphery of electronic music. He started experimenting with drum-'n-bass in the mid-90s. In the early 2000s, he (co-)founded Commix, with releases on labels like Metalheadz (by Goldie). Afterward, he was gripped by shadowy sounds from the techno scene. For more than ten years, Brewer experimented with dub-like minimalism, rhythmic noise, and raw drone sounds. In 2023, after moving from Berlin to Antwerp, he dedicated himself entirely to building something new: Carrier. In the autumn of 2025, a first album appeared: the refined Rhythm immortal. Carrier is the direct result of a mix of what preceded it. In this case, the basic ingredients are the Rhythm & Sound project by Basic Channel (where the name Carrier comes from) and drum-'n-bass artists such as Source Direct and Photek.
