Lézard plays rebellious discopunk that pulls you into the night. Kersverse Nieuwe Lichting winner Rosie Stuart completes the line-up.
With a dazzling mix of post-punk, disco, glam rock, new wave, and electroclash, Lézard operates on the fault line between comedy and tragedy. Their debut album 'Que Se Passe t-il' asks the question: what on earth is going on on this big blue rock? Lézard's rebellious discopunk quickly became a sensation at major festivals like Pukkelpop, The Great Escape, and Best Kept Secret.
Rosie Stuart, winner of the Nieuwe Lichting, opens the evening. Rosie writes raw songs full of contrasts. In her voice, nuances of Sinéad O’Connor and PJ Harvey of Patti Smith can be heard. With her three-piece band, Rosie doesn't just confront the audience; she takes on the walls around her, the world in general, and even herself.
