DINAMO in choir, Els Germonpré and Myriam Jacobs

At DINAMO, we bring people together with diverse backgrounds and experiences. Music is an excellent opportunity to connect. In this in-house choir, the opportunity is offered to sing known songs together, to look back nostalgically at sweet memories, or to challenge the vocal cords to newer experiences. Knowledge of notes is not a requirement, singing should primarily be fun! Els Germonpré has years of experience in choir accompaniment. The singing repertoire is viewed in consultation with the participants: which genre is close to your heart, which songs give you energy or make your heart jubilate? Els also makes suggestions to the group herself and accompanies the choir on piano together with Myriam. Approximately monthly, Els brings printed copies of the necessary scores and lyrics. She settles this directly with the participants during the lesson. Does this sound like music to your ears? This series takes place every Monday afternoon from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM with the exception of school holidays and public holidays. In addition, DINAMO in choir regularly participates in performances and events during the season to also show family, friends, and others how connecting and fun singing together can be. As a choir member, singing along at performances or events is voluntary and not mandatory.
