Cabaret with De Calle

Pascal Audenaert, “De Calle”, has a great passion in his life: cabaret. Like a troubadour, he travels through cultural cafés, festivals, and the better brown pubs in Belgium and the Netherlands to delight the audience with his voice, guitar, harmonica, and all those beautiful texts of yesteryear. Boudewijn de Groot, Ramses Schaffy, Wim De Craene, Armand and many other Dutch-language toppers, they all pass in review. Beautiful poetic songs or protest songs, with an opinion but full of lyricism. He also writes his own songs in this style and has already been on various radio stations (4fm Amsterdam, Radio Benelux, radio 2, …). In Breda he even stood for 14 weeks in the Dutch top 10, of which 3 weeks at no. 1 with his own song Volle Maan (from the CD Morgen is Vandaag). De Calle has performed in the past at the Masereelhuis and, as a true Sint-Niklaas resident, likes to keep coming back to play in his own city. Welcome back, Calle!
