Rif kookt! + Ruisgewas: La Strada The street is the path to unknown adventure, that is the premise of La Strada. Zangeres Lieselot De Wilde and podcast maker Eva De Groote go on the road and have conversations with local residents from Mortsel. Those stories are given a stage, sometimes in the form of an interview, a shared impression, a song. Bel Ayre Quartet plays ancient songs between the stories. The scent of homesickness and exile, but also of curiosity and hospitality, spreads through the room. De Oekraïense artist Kirill Zemtsov draws all the travel stories together in the meantime. Hadas Cnaani and Sadaf Malyar cook on stage during the performance and afterwards you can join their delicious buffet.
