Koala Disco

Koala Disco is a four-piece band that refuses to be pigeonholed in a single box. Drawing from a deep well of influences, they weave together the energy of post-punk, the quirky charm of 80s new wave, and the wild experimentalism of progressive rock. Their music evokes associations with Talking Heads, DEVO and The B-52’s, while simultaneously embracing the groundbreaking mentality of Frank Zappa and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Despite their genre-transcending approach, one thing remains constant: Koala Disco thrives on unpredictability. Their sound is energetic, explosive, and not afraid to take risks. On stage, they push their songs to the limit — what begins as structured post-punk can culminate in psychedelic chaos. It is precisely this intensity that has earned them a reputation as an uncompromising live band and secured them a spot on major stages.
