Chamber concert |Maya Homburger & Barry Guy

In the spirit of the domestic atmosphere of Chambres d’Amis, Maya Homburger and Barry Guy bring a contemporary form of chamber music to the museum halls. During their ‘Bach Meditation’, Homburger (violin and viola) and Guy (double bass) take you on a meditative journey with ‘Solo Sonatas’ and ‘Partitas’ by J.S. Bach and short improvisations and compositions by H.I.F. Biber, György Kurtág and Barry Guy. These works lend themselves perfectly to a contemplative approach to Bach, in the unique setting of the museum. The concert takes place in the exhibition halls of 40 years of Chambres d'Amis.
