De Sara Selma Dolorès Le laughter wounds, but seriousness kills. So we take the risk of exposing ourselves to the delicious scratches of an irreverent artist. Le Soir Os and provocative. La Libre Mis confront our moral and moralistic contradictions, our trigger warnings and other new codes of conduct, the character whispers loudly, very loudly, what must not be said, what must no longer be said. And we burst out laughing. RTBF Stuck in a dazzling green dress, adorned with feathers and sequins, Sara Selma Dolorès – glamorous and clown – invites us to free ourselves from the destructive power of the spirit of seriousness. Accompagnée de Baxter, Olga Kalachnikova and Kimi Amen, she pushes all limits – including those of theater, stand-up and cabaret – and trusts us with the only possible alternative to ambient gloom: being mad. With transgression as a palliative to morals of all kinds, she takes us to the heart of her questions and contradictions. From intimate reflections to bar philosophy, this high-colored mistress of ceremonies insinuates herself where things creak... Tickled by a breath of celebration, we are contaminated by self-deprecation. What if the world – as we represent it so seriously – were more of a farce? Provoking, Laugh? Certainly. Uncomfortable? Never. Because there is in Sara Selma Dolorès a deep tenderness for the Other.
