De Mark O’Halloran by Magali Pinglaut Incisive, poignant and with unfailing honesty, Mark O'Halloran's play was acclaimed by critics during its creation at the Dublin Theatre Festival and was consecrated Best Play of the Year by the Irish Times ***** . A play that avoids stereotypes. A play about grief. Brutal and unforgettable. The Guardian **** "It's weird. I don't know your name." Tinder, sometimes a bit of drugs or alcohol, or not: that's the cocktail necessary for his nights. She spends them with men, rarely twice the same one, although... At her place, at their place, or in a hotel room, it doesn't matter where. Her passing partners are not alike: free or committed; sometimes delicate, sometimes less so; from here or elsewhere; young or in the prime of life. After coitus, they talk to her. She talks too. Oh, nothing spectacular, but some stories nonetheless, that they had never told anyone. She flees neither the monotony of a life nor commitment, but seeks to exorcise a guilt she cannot get rid of. Gwendoline Gauthier (Iphigénie à Splott) embodies this character of a free woman, Léopold Terlinden (collectif Ravie) plays all the men who accompany her and sometimes gives Conversations After Sex its comedy air, Laure Godisiabois (Foxfinder) completes the distribution.
