Comedy by Triporteur Events: KARIM SHATLA

Karim Shatla is a Bruggeling who approaches current themes such as diversity and inclusion in an infectious and often wonderfully confronting way. With sharp observations, absurd situations, the necessary self-mockery, and occasionally an unexpected guitar ditty, he knows how to take the audience along in his unique style time and again. In March 2025, Karim de Jef Staes Award won for most promising comedian of the moment. Meanwhile, he also tours as a permanent opening act for Steven Mahieu and is working fully on his very first full-evening show. For us, this evening is extra special. Karim has been one of our permanent MCs since the start of Triporteur Events, three years ago now. We saw him grow, experiment, and become stronger on every stage he stood on. That is why this debut show feels a bit like our own son is flying out. And yes… we are incredibly proud of that.
