Violette's silliness

Les bêtises de Violette by the Théâtre des 4 mains "Bah! it's me, Violette! I am Super. I am Extra. Extraordinary. Extraterrestrial. No, I'm kidding." In her imagination as a little girl, Violette has no filter, she lives everything intensely, and there is reason to, because love, death, separation, anger, boredom, it's not a joke. After being punished by her mother, Violette is sent to think in the attic. For her, this part of the house is that of memories, those she shared with her grandpa: his farewell party, the horror stories he told her in the evening, but especially their wacky pickle recipes. She undertakes to send him a letter to the moon to inform him of her future move with her boyfriend Dino. From storms at sea to her moon landing, passing through the tarantula jungle, Violette replays all the emotions and questions that, without a doubt, make up her daily life… Where do we go when we are dead? How do we manage two boyfriends? What is a tax audit? Can everyone become a mermaid? Since I see the moon, is it closer than Spain? Between humor and resilience, Violette brings to life the objects that surround her and reinvents the world in her own way. She shatters the fourth wall to take the audience with spontaneity and boldness into her bubbling imagination and make the spectators the confidants and partners of her story.
