Sunday recital: Jef Kolacny - De Grote Post

This edition, Jef Kolacny is coming by, a young and driven pianist who has already gained quite a lot of stage experience in recent years. He is a co-inspirer of the Tinel Ensemble and tours annually with various chamber music projects through Flanders and the Netherlands. This year, Jef was selected by radio Klara as one of their 'Twintigers' (Twentysomethings), a quality label where young top talent is in the spotlight for a year. In March 2026, he was also picked up by the weekly magazine HUMO with an extensive interview in the series 'Jonge Leeuwen'. Jef is described as an all-round musician: one can see him at work in solo recitals, concertos with orchestra, and all kinds of chamber music with works from Bach to contemporary compositions. During this recital, he brings the program Based on Schubert.
