If the world is on loose screws, you might as well dance on it – something Lézard understands all too well. With influences from Devo, LCD Soundsystem, Talking Heads, and Telex, they mix post-punk, disco, and electroclash into a tight and irresistibly danceable whole. Their recently released debut ‘Que Se Passe t il’ sounds like a breakup and a comeback at the same time: absurd, infectious, and full of frayed edges. After a lightning-fast advance along European festivals, the band unleashes the same controlled chaos live – danceable, sharp, and uncompromisingly own.
