By composing new melodies based on old standards and approaching memories of her teenage years with a fresh perspective, she brings a repertoire that closely aligns with the essence of modern jazz. By her side are double bassist Victor Foulon and her brother Lionel Beuvens on drums. The addition of saxophonist Elly Brouckmans - one of the Twintigers van Klara and a fixture in the Brussels jazz scene - gives the whole an extra warm and engaging dynamic. Together they guarantee harmonious interplay with room for both refined intimacy and adventurous improvisation.
