Puur de Nijs has been paying tribute to Rob de Nijs since 2022. Nu Rob unfortunately is no longer with us since March 16, 2025, this theater performance has gained even more value. Many fans of Rob de Nijs have already been able to attend the performance in the Netherlands. After two fantastic theater tours with many sold-out halls, Puur de Nijs is back in the 2026-2027 season with a new performance. Marcel Mulders and his five-piece band naturally play the most beautiful songs. Singer Marcel also shares fun stories about the Netherlands' greatest artist, sometimes with a touch of humor and a personal twist. Also enjoy beautiful video images that are shown during various songs. Enjoy classics like 'Mallebabbe', 'Zondag' and 'Het werd zomer'. But also new songs like 'Wat als later nu is' and some surprising numbers written by Rob’s fellow artists. Do not expect a look-a-like/sound-a-like of Rob; it is a tribute to Rob de Nijs, performed in a respectful manner.
