Het Verhaal Een unemployed actor gets a phone call from a renowned television production house that wants to film his life. He himself, however, does not understand it: What does his life actually represent? Everything he has dreamed of so far has turned out disastrously differently. His marriage has broken down, his work is barely seen, and the relationships with his children and friends are not going smoothly either. But since he is currently out of work, he is eventually convinced to cooperate with the TV series. Until everything turns out differently than expected. After ‘Hiroshima, mon amour’ (1990), ‘De Geverfde Vogel’ (2002), ‘Force Majeure’ (2007), and ‘Vroeger Was De Toekomst Beter’ (2021), ‘TISOVERALIETS’ is Lesage’s fifth solo performance. His performances are characterized by their tragicomic and semi-autobiographical ironic style. Who is Günther Lesage actually? Is a question that Günther Lesage also often asks himself. He has been working in the theater for more than 35 years and founded 4 theater companies, of which LAZARUS is perhaps the most famous. With this group, he made more than 30 theater performances that toured for almost 20 years through almost all theaters and cultural centers in Flanders, from the Gentse Vooruit to the then Kolleblom in Puurs. He also played in various films and TV series, including ‘Wat Als?’, ‘Onder Vuur’, ‘Chaussée d’Amour’, ‘Terug Naar Oosterdonk’, ‘Een ander zijn Geluk’, ‘Nonkels’, ‘Daens’, ‘Amateurs’, ‘Alter Ego’, ‘Bevergem’,’ Any Way The Wind Blows’, ‘Buiten de Zone’, ‘Generatie B’, ‘Cordon’, and many others….
